Vetted haulage fleet

Road is the leg that touches your goods most often — collection, trunking, depot transfers, delivery — and it is the leg most companies subcontract without looking. We contract our hauliers directly, audit them twice a year, and refuse to move cargo on a vehicle we have never inspected.

Drivers we can name

Drivers we can name

Every operator on our network is contracted, insured to our minimum limits and audited on tachograph compliance, vehicle condition and load security. Drivers are named on the consignment record, so when your goods change hands the trail identifies a person, not just a plate. That accountability is unglamorous and it is the single biggest reason our loss rate is what it is.

Groupage without the guesswork

Groupage without the guesswork

Part loads travel in scanned, shrink-wrapped pallet units built in our own facilities, with position and neighbour recorded on the trailer plan. If a trailer is unloaded twice at two depots, we know which hands touched your pallet and in what order. Cheap groupage becomes expensive the day something disappears and nobody can reconstruct the journey.

Corridors, not one-off runs

Corridors, not one-off runs

We run scheduled departures across the UK, Benelux, France, Germany, the Nordics, Iberia and Central Europe rather than improvising each job. Fixed corridors mean predictable transit times, planned rest stops in secure parks and a backup vehicle within reach when one breaks down. Improvised trucking is how a two-day delivery becomes a six-day mystery.

Road network: what our crew says

Five of the team who run this part of CargoVault, on the work itself and on how far the company has come. Let it drift, or drag it yourself.

Wouter de Jong

Road network controller, Utrecht

“I remember chasing a trailer through three phone numbers to find out where it was. Now I open a screen. Our customers open the same screen — that honesty is what changed the business.”

Camille Girard

Haulier auditor, Lyon

“I have removed carriers from our list for tyre condition and been backed every time. A company that lets you fail an audit properly is a company you stay at.”
5 years at CargoVault

Stefan Bauer

Groupage planner, Munich

“Building scanned pallet units instead of loose cartons doubled our handling speed and halved our damage claims. It was a boring change that made everything better.”

Rosa Iglesias

Iberia corridor lead, Madrid

“We opened this corridor with two trucks a week. It now runs daily and the drivers have stayed with us the whole way. People do not leave when the work is organised.”
6 years at CargoVault

Anders Holm

Nordic driver liaison, Oslo

“Every driver on my list is a name and a phone number I know. When a customer asks who has their cargo, I answer in one sentence.”
