The departure time on a flight schedule is not your deadline — the handling cut-off is, and it can be six hours earlier. We plan collection backwards from that cut-off, including screening time, build-up and the walk across the apron. That single habit is the difference between cargo that flies tonight and cargo that sits until tomorrow at the same price.
Pharmaceutical and perishable consignments travel in validated packaging with data loggers inside the shipment. The readout is downloaded on arrival and attached to your record, so when a receiving hospital or laboratory asks whether the chain held, the answer is a graph rather than a promise. Cover for temperature excursion is written into the booking rather than sold afterwards.
Our brokers pre-file at destination while the aircraft is still in the air, so recovery from the handling agent starts the moment cargo is released rather than the following morning. On priority lanes that routinely takes a full working day off the door-to-door time without buying a faster flight.
