Branch-assisted corridor
Europe → United States
No shared border with Europe, so every consignment crosses on a deep-sea or long-haul air leg and is re-entered by our Newark branch as importer of record support. Everything on this page is handled by CargoVault staff at both ends — the European loading bay and the Newark, New Jersey branch — under one reference and one tracking number.

Who receives your cargo in United States
Our Newark, New Jersey office. Not a broker found on price that morning, not a name on a forwarding chain you never meet. The same company that sealed the consignment in Europe breaks the seal at destination, and the operator who does it is named on the record.
The paperwork this country demands
ISF 10+2 filing, customs bond, FDA/FCC screening where applicable.
All of it is drafted while the cargo is still moving, so the entry is lodged before arrival rather than started after it. That single habit is the difference between a same-day release and a week of storage charges.
Why the border charge exists
$1,640.00 per consignment, stated before you book and never invoiced afterwards. It pays for destination clearance, terminal handling, local compliance filing, branch supervision and the first stage of inland delivery. It does not multiply with volume — a single pallet and a forty-foot box need the same work.
What the schedule really looks like
Sea 12–16 days · Air 1–2 days. We quote the range, not the best case, because weather routing, convoy slots and inspection queues are real. When a leg slips, the ETA in your dashboard changes on its own — and if the slip matters to your customer, you get a call instead of a silent update.
Proof, not promises

How a United States booking runs, step by step
- 01
Send the weight, commodity and delivery town. The estimate already carries the $1,640.00 border charge.
- 02
We confirm the sailing or flight and list the exact documents the destination authority will demand.
- 03
Cargo is collected in Europe, sealed, photographed and exported under our own licence.
- 04
The Newark, New Jersey branch pre-lodges the entry while the cargo is still in motion.
- 05
Clearance, release and inland delivery close out under the same tracking number.
